Meet Maple, our February Pack Leader

Maple is the kind of dog who makes friends everywhere she goes. She was found as a stray, but it’s clear this sweet girl knew love once before—she already knows her basic commands like sit, down, touch, and look, walks beautifully on leash, and is fully potty trained. Treat-motivated and eager to please, Maple has quickly proven herself to be a star student who truly enjoys learning.

While she loves a good game of fetch and has a playful, goofy side (her dinosaur costume is legendary), Maple is also a certified couch potato. In her kennel, she’s happiest curled up close, soaking up affection, and if you sit down, don’t be surprised if she climbs right into your lap. She’s affectionate, gentle, and ready to be someone’s loyal best friend.

Maple is currently being cared for by Nashville Humane Association, a local, entirely donor-funded shelter that has been saving lives in Middle Tennessee and beyond for decades. With a remarkable 98% save rate, Nashville Humane is known for stepping in where help is needed most—rescuing animals from neglect, hoarding situations, puppy mills, and disaster zones. Voted Nashville’s Best Place to Adopt year after year, they are truly a neighborhood shelter with a global impact, powered entirely by community support.
